Tampere Tramway Oy has appointed NRC Group Finland Oy, a company wholly owned by NRC Group ASA, to a contract for Tampere Tramway Maintenance in Tampere.
The project is implemented in an alliance model and the contract period is 2023-2030. The work is phased in 2 years maintenance periods and NRC’s share of the first maintenance period is approximately EUR 5,4 million, and will involve services such as tramway track, power stations and catenary maintenance, tram rerailing and road maintenance tasks year-around.
The contract is continuation for Alliance development phase which started in February 2019.
The first phase of maintenance work is commencing in January 2023 and scheduled for completion in December 2024.
