Anders Gustafsson is the new CEO in NRC Group

In this interview Anders talks about his impression of NRC Group so far and what the future holds for NRC Group.

Anders has over 30 years of industrial experience. He previously held executive roles at NCC until 2013, when he started his employment at Svevia, a Swedish company, specialized in infrastructure with a revenue around 12 billion and 2,300 employees. Anders was the President and CEO at Svevia from 2017 to 2023.

What is your impression of NRC Group so far?

- I have been here two months now. In a short time, the experience, knowledge, and the expertise have impressed me in many ways. I have witnessed a great dedication and effort among the organizations. I am also excited about the opportunities that lie ahead of us.

What does the future hold for NRC Group?

- As we plan the track for the new strategy from 2024 to 2028, the outlook for our company is promising. The demand to build and maintain critical infrastructure is increasing, which gives us great opportunities for the future. This is what we do, and we do it well. Our tender pipeline is at a record high level. So I am confident that we will succeed with our goals going forward.

What will become important during the next strategy period?

- The coming years will be a new chapter for NRC Group. There is a broad consensus to build and upgrade infrastructure going forward and there is an increased demand for our operations. NRC Group is a robust company and well positioned and I look forward to 2024 with confidence. He continues: what truly makes our workplace exceptional is not only the incredible projects we undertake, but also the sense of purpose that comes from our contribution to sustainable value creation that benefits customers, owners and society. Together, we create a positive impact, and I´m very proud of that.

He wraps it up:

- We will continue to invest in our people, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and diligently manage our resources efficiently.

Anders is Swedish and lives in Stockholm with his family. He holds a Master of Science degree in economics and an Executive MBA from the University of Stockholm.
