Why Invest in NRC Group?

Strategically positioned at the intersection of infrastructure and sustainability. NRC Group ASA is a leading Nordic infrastructure specialist with a strong position within railway and transport-related infrastructure.

Our business

We are a listed Nordic infrastructure company operating across Norway, Sweden and Finland through five business areas: Rail, Civil, Maintenance, Machine and Special Operations. We deliver complex, critical infrastructure projects for public and private clients, contributing to the development of safe, efficient and sustainable transport systems throughout the Nordic region.

As a Nordic company, we combine shared cross-Nordic expertise and know-how with a strong local market presence. Our business is built on long-term societal needs, high technical competence and a disciplined, project-based business model focused on profitability, risk control and value creation.

We offer strong in-house design expertise combined with a comprehensive partner network, enabling cost-effective and high-quality project delivery. We are also highly experienced in alliance operations, where success depends on close collaboration between clients, partners and project teams.

Our markets

NRC Group operates across three strategic segments - Rail & Light Rail, Rail Maintenance and Civil Infrastructure - in Norway, Sweden and Finland. With a leading position in Nordic rail construction and maintenance, we are now systematically expanding into civil infrastructure to capture growth beyond our core business.

We are positioned at the intersection of three of the most important investment themes of our time: the green energy transition, the major need for upgrading critical infrastructure, and the digitalisation of society.

The Nordic infrastructure market is experiencing strong structural growth. National transportation plans across all three countries confirm sustained rail investment into the 2030s, expanding the relevant market for NRC Group.

The green energy transition. Reaching net zero requires major expansion of electricity grids, new power stations, onshore wind farms, and renewal of hydro assets. NRC Group's expertise in concrete works, groundworks and electrical infrastructure positions us directly in the path of this investment wave.

Upgrading critical infrastructure. Decades of underinvestment are driving demand for replacement and renewal across the Nordics - from dams and wastewater treatment plants to rail networks and urban mobility systems. Governments and private clients are prioritising this work, and NRC Group has the capabilities to deliver it.

The digitalisation of society. Growing demand for data processing and AI is driving a construction boom in data centre infrastructure across the Nordics, an emerging opportunity that builds naturally on our civil construction expertise.

Our goal is more than NOK 10 billion in revenue and a margin above 5% by 2028. We will get there by defending our leadership position in rail construction, scaling maintenance in Sweden and Finland, and expanding into the civil infrastructure niches where our competence creates the highest barriers to competition. The Nordic infrastructure market represents a significantly larger addressable market than in 2024, when we launched our strategy.
