Blom signed NOK 18 million contract in Romania

Blom Romania S.R.L, the Romanian subsidiary of Blom
ASA, has signed a contract with SC APA OLTENIA SA to
deliver technical assistance for new infrastructure
in Dolj County. The expected value of the agreement
is approximately NOK 18 million. The project will
start in 2011.

The project includes technical assistance and
supervision of planning of extension and
rehabilitation of infrastructure for water and waste
water treatment.

The Company was further awarded two contracts with a
total expected order value of MNOK 12 within the same
market segment earlier this month. The contracts
confirm that the company's strategy to expand its
activity in the growing economies in Central and
Eastern Europe has given results. The contract also
confirms that the company has successfully been able
to expand into new services to its established
customer base. The Company has so far this year won
contracts of this type in Romania with a total
expected order value of more than NOK 80 million.

The infrastructure in many Eastern European countries
has a significant need for renovation and expansion.
During the last year funding for this kind of
projects has increasingly been made available by
among others the EU and the World Bank. Blom
presently experiences an increased level of public
tenders related to infrastructure projects, of which
the water and waste water management project in Dolj
County is an example.
