Blom Romania S.R.L, the Romanian subsidiary of Blom ASA, has signed a contract to deliver technical assistance for new infrastructure "Extension and rehabilitation of water and wastewater infrastructure in Hunedoara County". The expected value of the agreement is approximately NOK 16 million. The project will start in November 2013 and go over an estimated period of 18 months. The project includes technical assistance and management of extension and rehabilitation of infrastructure for water and waste water treatment. The infrastructure in many Eastern European countries has a significant need for renovation and expansion. During the last years funding for this kind of projects has increasingly been made available by among others the EU and the World Bank. The contract confirms the high quality of the services of the company and its strong market position in Romania.
