Award of strategically important contract of MNOK 10 in France

Blom  has been awarded a NOK 10 million contract for 
an airborne LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) 
survey including  data acquisition and modelling of 
the flooding areas in the South of France required by 
IGN (the French National Geographic Institute). This 
is one of the main parts of a project covering all 
the flooding areas of the country. 

Blom has been awarded this contract after a very 
demanding European tender and sees the contract award 
as confirmation of Bloms strong position within 
airborne laser scanning. France is a new geografical 
market for Blom for this kind of services.
